Введение. Социальный запрос на развитие городской среды как пространства эффективного взаимодействия культур, влияющего на качество жизни и мировоззрение современного человека, задал уровень сложности решаемых задач и определил приоритеты в концепции дизайна общественных пространств. Сегодня уделяется особое внимание эргономике навигационных систем, имеющих прямое отношение к уровню средовой доступности. Актуальность исследования в области дизайна современных систем визуального ориентирования обусловлена поиском универсальных средств в дизайн-проектировании, способных решить общественный запрос. Цель статьи – дать анализ культурной составляющей социализации индивидуума, в частности, выявить факторы, влияющие на ориентирование человека в городской среде с целью определения приоритетного инструментария для проектирования систем навигации, связанных со спецификой поликультурного общества на Юге России.Материалы и методы. В процессе исследования применялись теоретические и эмпирические методы: сбор материала, изучение, анализ, методы наблюдения и сравнения.Результаты исследования. Результатами исследования являются выявленные актуальные методы проектирования систем ориентирования, такие как адаптивное-слияние, метод светотени, тематический и технический подходы. Обосновано применение этих методов в поликультурном обществе за счёт особого подхода в проектировании: соблюдение этнокультурных особенностей в визуальной коммуникации и восприятии информации.Обсуждение и заключение. Изучение и учет исторического контекста, культурных особенностей и разнообразия потребностей пользователей является ключевым в процессе проектирования визуальных навигационных систем. Практическая значимость выявленных методов и особенностей навигационной культуры средовых пространств служит основой для проектирования систем ориентирования. Подчеркивается значимость применения принципов навигационной культуры в создании комфортной среды.
Introduction. The social demand for the development of urban environment as a space of effective interaction of cultures, influencing the quality of life and worldview of modern man, has set the level of complexity of solved problems and determined the priorities in the concept of design of public spaces. Today, there is an emphasis on the ergonomics of navigation systems that have a direct bearing on the level of environmental accessibility. The relevance of research in the field of design of modern visual orientation systems is due to the search for universal means in design engineering that can solve the public demand. The purpose of the article is to provide an analysis of the cultural component of an individual’s socialization, in particular, to identify the factors affecting human orientation in the urban environment in order to determine the priority tools for the design of navigation systems related to the specifics of multicultural society in Southern Russia.Materials and methods. Theoretical and empirical methods were applied in the research process: collection of material, study, analysis, observation and comparison methods.Results. The results of the study are the identified relevant methods of orienteering system design such as adaptivemerging, light-shadow method, thematic and technical approaches. The application of these methods in a multicultural society is justified due to a special approach in design: observance of ethno-cultural peculiarities in visual communication and information perception. Discussion and conclusion. Exploring and incorporating historical context, cultural sensitivity, and the diversity of user needs is key to the design process of visual navigation systems. The practical significance of the identified methods and features of navigational culture of environmental spaces serves as a basis for the design of orienteering systems. The importance of applying the principles of navigation culture in creating a comfortable environment is emphasized.
