Предпринимается попытка проведения социокультурного анализа проблемы кибертерроризма в социальных сетях. Авторы доказывают, что, несмотря на ряд позитивных функций коммуникации, которые в современном российском обществе выполняют социальные сети, во всем мире они все больше и больше становятся источником массированных атак кибертерроризма, совершаемого с целью нанести ущерб жизнедеятельности человека и общества. Утверждается, что кибертерроризм, изначально скрываясь под маской социально-активного пользователя сети, со временем покидая виртуальное пространство, приобретает реальные проявления терроризма.

An attempt of the socio-cultural analysis of the problem of cyber-terrorism in the social networks has been done. The authors argue that, despite a number of positive features of communication that in contemporary Russian society operate social networks around the world, they are increasingly becoming a source of massive attacks of cyberterrorism, perpetrated with the aim at harming human life and society. It is argued that cyber-terrorism, initially hiding under the guise of social and active user on the network, eventually leaving the virtual space becomes a real manifestation of terrorism.
